About the role

  • Walmart's Merchandising Director leading complex category strategies and performance across channels. Drive growth, build supplier relationships, and innovate customer-focused processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and performance of complex business categories
  • Set category direction and lead teams
  • Shape supplier partnerships and drive profitable growth
  • Develop strategic plans for categories and execute initiatives
  • Analyze competition and customer behavior
  • Support resource requirements and evaluate operational processes
  • Collaborate with teams across stores and digital platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or related field
  • 4 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • OR 6 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • 1 years’ supervisory experience
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Negotiating with third-party suppliers
  • Supervisory experience
  • Masters: Business Administration (preferred)
