About the role

• Director of Identity and Access Management ensuring secure payments solutions at Global Payments. Managing user identity and access administration while leading IAM engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages user identity and access administration
• Implements access management controls to protect information systems
• Coordinates the delivery of identity and access management services
• Conducts regular review of identity and access management principles
• Build, oversee, and maintain an enterprise Identity and Access Management engineering program
• Contributes to the development of identity and access management strategy
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Educates the enterprise on identity and access management best practices
• Identifies and explores new initiatives to enhance security and performance
• Support identity and access management security incident response activities
• Develop and maintain metrics to monitor and report on effectiveness
• Build and prepare updates and/or reports for senior leadership
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or Computer Science preferred
• Typically a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a managerial position
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• 5-7 years IAM experience for Financial services or other highly regulated industry preferred
• 2-3 years experience in a Sr IAM Leadership role
• Firm understanding of RBAC Development, processes and Controls
• Strong understanding of PCI, SOX, HIPA, EU-GDPR regulations for IAM
• Working knowledge of IGA tools such as SailPoint, Aveksa or Saviynt
• Working knowledge of PAM tools such as CyberArk, Hashicorp, or BeyondTrust
• Working knowledge of Access Management tools such as OKTA, Microsoft Entra, or PING
