Responsibilities
- Apply flexible resourcing and vendor management strategies for assigned Clinical Development and Operations (CD&O) functions
- Collaborate with CD&O leadership and other key stakeholders
- Develop, implement, and revise flexible resource sourcing strategies
- Facilitate periodic governance and recognition events
- Partner with internal customers to identify and evaluate sourcing and resourcing options
- Gain an in-depth understanding of requirements to secure appropriate resources
- Prepare a Request for Information and investigate alternative vendor solutions
- Analyze budget proposals and provide recommendations
- Facilitate the vendor selection process
- Collaborate with Function to develop and implement metrics/KPIs with vendors
- Manage existing global MSA commitments and pricing
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 8+ years of Sponsor experience, CRO operational and/or proposal development/contract management experience
- General knowledge of all phases of drug development (pre-clinical, phase I-IV, post-marketing/approval activities)
- Finance/Clinical Budgeting Experience including understanding of various contracting and budget models
- Experience applying Enterprise-level contracting and outsourcing strategies
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word/Powerpoint/Excel)
- Strong internal and external influencing skills for expectation and timeline management
