Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build trust, influence outcomes, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs that support advisor, client and employee success across digital platforms, financial planning, practice management, insurance, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead a team of training professionals, providing strategic direction and support to ensure consistent, high-quality program execution.
  • Define and implement a multi-modal training strategy for advisors, including in-person sessions, webinars, videos, and podcasts, grounded in adult learning principles.
  • Develop client-facing training materials to support adoption and engagement with the Client Portal and Mobile App.
  • Oversee the creation of tailored learning experiences—workshops, e-learning modules, and coaching programs—to meet the diverse needs of advisors and advisory teams.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and refine programs accordingly.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training offerings remain relevant, competitive, and impactful.
  • Lead a high-performing team to ensure seamless execution of daily communications, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc projects.
  • Develop and implement a strategic communications framework that delivers timely, relevant, and engaging content to advisors, clients, and employees.
  • Oversee all communications developed on behalf of the dealer, president, and executive team, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess needs, lead content development, determine optimal channels and formats, execute targeted messaging strategies, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and refine content to uphold high standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment, while tailoring messaging to the unique needs of Private Wealth.
  • Manage intake and editorial processes for advisor and employee newsletters, ensuring timely, accurate, and streamlined delivery of weekly and monthly communications.
  • Lead planning and content development for quarterly iA Private Wealth employee town halls and other key events.
  • Collaborate with an external vendor to manage the dealer’s monthly client statement process for messaging, promotional imagery, and print/digital inserts—ensuring timely distribution across all channels, including the Client Portal and Mobile App.
  • Own the governance and manage the advisor intranet, partnering with contributors to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and high-value content.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design and production of communications, events, training materials, and resources for advisors and clients.
  • Lead a team of digital and graphic designers to produce visually compelling, brand-aligned assets that meet business needs.
  • Manage internal and external production workflows, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all advisor and client touchpoints—including statements, websites, social media, guides, and manuals.
  • Monitor and optimize design and production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or a related discipline; advanced certifications or continuing education in communications, learning, &/or leadership are considered assets.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in leadership, business management, communications, and learning & development, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver integrated programs across communication, training development, design, and production management.
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role within a large, matrixed organization, with a track record of driving individual and team performance, enhance advisor satisfaction and retention, and deliver measurable impact through strategic enablement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry with specific expertise in enablement strategies tailored to the independent advisor channel.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate competing priorities and stakeholder interests with diplomacy, influence, and sound judgment.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, high adaptability, and comfort operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong learning and change agility, paired with a proactive, results-driven approach and a sense of urgency.
  • Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, with a growth mindset and commitment to challenging the status quo.
  • Skilled in building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external partners through effective communication, collaboration, and influence.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is preferred and considered a strong asset for supporting national communications and enhancing advisor, client, and employee engagement across diverse regions.
