About the role

  • Overall sales responsibility for assigned customer portfolio and performance
  • Execute SCM operation objectives, deliver superior customer experience, and drive profitability
  • Manage and develop client relationships and stakeholder mapping
  • Develop client business plans covering ocean and Logistics & Services products
  • Define value propositions and work with Maersk functions to grow revenue
  • Map control for each product and maintain overview of client contracts and potential needs
  • Plan, prepare, manage, and negotiate business opportunities and contracts
  • Liaise with non-control ocean clients and their 3PLs to maximize volumes
  • Professionally plan and input to SFDC client meetings and proactive calls
  • Support customer onboarding, contract compliance, and cross-functional cooperation
  • Position Maersk for access to stakeholders and expand scope of business
  • Match products to client needs, provide sustainable solutions, and ensure profitable services

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, account management, or similar roles
  • Proficiency with SFDC (Salesforce) for client meetings and record keeping
  • Ability to manage and develop customer relationships and stakeholder mapping
  • Experience with developing client business plans across ocean and Logistics & Services products
  • Negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to liaise with non-control ocean clients and 3PLs
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, customer service/delivery teams, and sales support
  • Consultative selling and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to plan, prepare, manage, and negotiate business opportunities
  • Familiarity with ocean shipping and logistics services
