Responsibilities
- Overall sales responsibility for assigned customer portfolio and performance
- Execute SCM operation objectives, deliver superior customer experience, and drive profitability
- Manage and develop client relationships and stakeholder mapping
- Develop client business plans covering ocean and Logistics & Services products
- Define value propositions and work with Maersk functions to grow revenue
- Map control for each product and maintain overview of client contracts and potential needs
- Plan, prepare, manage, and negotiate business opportunities and contracts
- Liaise with non-control ocean clients and their 3PLs to maximize volumes
- Professionally plan and input to SFDC client meetings and proactive calls
- Support customer onboarding, contract compliance, and cross-functional cooperation
- Position Maersk for access to stakeholders and expand scope of business
- Match products to client needs, provide sustainable solutions, and ensure profitable services
Requirements
- Experience in sales, account management, or similar roles
- Proficiency with SFDC (Salesforce) for client meetings and record keeping
- Ability to manage and develop customer relationships and stakeholder mapping
- Experience with developing client business plans across ocean and Logistics & Services products
- Negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to liaise with non-control ocean clients and 3PLs
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, customer service/delivery teams, and sales support
- Consultative selling and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to plan, prepare, manage, and negotiate business opportunities
- Familiarity with ocean shipping and logistics services
