About the role
- DevOps Engineer responsible for deployment, operation, and improvement of systems across cloud and on-premises environments. Collaborating with software teams and ensuring high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of systems across both cloud and on-premises environments
- Collaborate with Software Development teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Administer and support Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain internal tools and pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of live systems
Requirements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- At least 2 years of experience working in Linux-based environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Proven troubleshooting and incident response skills
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd)
- Experience deploying and managing CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Exposure to centralized logging platforms like the ELK Stack
- Nice to have Arabic language skills (not mandatory but would be a strong advantage)
- Experience with AWS or other major cloud providers
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning
