Designer II / Job Captain at a dynamic design-forward interior architecture studio. Involves high-end residential and hospitality interiors with detailed architectural plans and project management.
Responsibilities
Lead the production and coordination of drawing sets from concept through construction administration.
Collaborate with designers, consultants, and fabricators to ensure the design intent is carried through to completion.
Produce detailed interior architectural plans, elevations, sections, and custom millwork drawings.
Review and incorporate building codes, ADA standards, and jurisdictional requirements.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and technical issues.
Participate in site visits, field verifications, and construction observations.
Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in interior architecture, with a focus on high-end residential or boutique commercial/hospitality projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (preferred)
Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and custom fabrication
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture or related field
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
