About the role

  • Work with Sustainment Program Managers to plan and execute delivery of engineering and ILS activities
  • Support delivery of risk-based sustainment activities for Director General, Maritime Equipment Program Management
  • Provide leadership and direction to Babcock Sustainment IPTs
  • Support business development activities
  • Manage resources allocated to sustainment projects
  • Determine governance arrangements including risk planning and implementation
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline stakeholders to resolve complex issues
  • Independently deliver detailed information and participate within discussions

Requirements

  • Recognized University Degree or College diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • 8 plus years’ experience in successfully managing projects with multiple stakeholders, preferably within the Naval or Marine sector
  • Working knowledge of DGMEPM (SM) Sustainment Operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
  • SM experience beneficial
