Coordination of planning activities for large projects and ensuring successful outcomes.
Ownership in the SIOP process by providing guidance on customer needs (from your key accounts), large projects you own, and overall channel intelligence from your Commercial partners.
Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and customer insights.
Analyze demand patterns and variances to support decision-making in procurement, inventory, and sales planning.
Collaborate closely with Commercial, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to align forecasts with strategic objectives.
Establish and monitor inventory targets to balance product availability with cost efficiency.
Partner with Supply Planning team to ensure lead-time reliability and mitigate supply risks.
Maintain accurate data in ERP and forecasting systems to support planning and reporting.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and fill rates.
Identify and escalate risks related to demand variability, project-driven requirements, and market changes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to forecasting and inventory management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management; PVF or industrial distribution industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems and forecasting software required.
Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) demand planning solutions preferred.
APICS CSCP, CPIM, or other supply chain certifications preferred.
