About the role
- Data Migration Specialist assisting in migrating data from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Playing a key role in our global IT transformation journey.
Responsibilities
- Analyze source and target systems, develop migration plans, and define data cleansing and transformation requirements
- Use appropriate tools and scripts to extract, cleanse, transform, and load (ETL) data into target systems
- Validate data quality and ensure functional accuracy post-migration
- Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies
- Document mapping, migration logic, and lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement
- Ensure all activities adhere to compliance, governance, and data security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Have experience with data migration, ETL processes, or database management (e.g., SQL, scripting, or data migration tools)
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Show excellent communication skills in English – both written and spoken
- Are structured, proactive, and thrive in collaborative environments
- Are open to occasional travel (10–20 days/year)
