About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to address specific business needs.
- Conduct data analysis and visualize pipeline performance to improve operational efficiency and scalability to ensure they support high volume and high velocity data streams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy data pipelines and machine learning capabilities into production.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering.
- Maintain documentation for data stores and data pipelines.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in data engineering technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Three (3) – Four (4) years of data engineering experience
- Experience creating ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure-native services.
- Experience with maintaining data models.
- Experience designing application programming interfaces or relational database management systems.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with distributed version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to process data effectively.
- Ability to own tasks and produce results for the business.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and results.
