About the role
- Data Analyst collaborating with multiple teams in a ride-hailing company. Utilizing data-driven insights to enhance pricing, supply-demand, and customer retention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in data cleansing projects to correct, standardize and validate large datasets
- Design and build semantic data models to enable self-service data analytics and interactive dashboards
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover user behavior patterns, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to measure the effectiveness of product and operational changes.
- Communicate insights and findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from executives to frontline teams.
- Contribute to building dashboards for visibility and optimization of core ride-hailing functions (e.g., ETAs, pricing algorithms, dynamic matching).
- Document data analysis pipelines and contribute to data governance policies
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data wrangling using Python or R. Preference given to Python.
- 2–4+ years of experience in business intelligence or data science.
- Proven experience in data modeling for interactive dashboards using large and complex datasets
- Experience working with large-scale data using BI tools(e.g. BigQuery, Grafana, Superset or similar).
- Solid understanding of experimentation and causal inference (A/B testing, regression discontinuity, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and influence decision-making.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in the mobility or logistics space.
- Familiarity with geospatial data and route optimization.
- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, or similar).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
