About the role
- Customer Funds Finance Analyst responsible for EMEA customer funds reporting and reconciliation. Supporting financial integrity and process improvement in a diverse global team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate monthly accounting for EMEA customer funds positions
- Drive global customer funds reconciliation processes
- Develop monthly reconciliations with explanations of key variances
- Maintain intercompany customer funds reconciliations
- Act as the primary contact person for customer funds related queries in year-end audits
- Support subledger system enhancements, identifying opportunities for automation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer funds financial processes
Requirements
- Accounting qualification preferred
- 1-2 years post qualification experience in finance
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting and analysis with an accounting/reconciliation focus
- Experience working with large data sets using tools such as google big query, SQL and AI
- Experience in payments industry/client funds preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP/Finance systems experience (preferred Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite, Xero)
