About the role

  • CRE Loan Administrator managing commercial real estate loan portfolios at U.S. Bank. Reviewing documents, coordinating due diligence, and ensuring compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate commercial real estate loan documents, including credit agreements, letters of credit, and syndicated transaction documents
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Manage the end-to-end process from loan approval to closing and payoff
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including review of appraisals, environmental reports, and other supporting documentation
  • Prepare and review closing statements, settlement details, and fee processing
  • Monitor covenant compliance, performance pricing, and financial tracking throughout the life of the loan
  • Address audit requests and resolve collateral exceptions post-closing
  • Submit final executed documentation to collateral and operations teams for funding and boarding
  • Serve as primary liaison with Relationship Managers, legal counsel, title companies, and construction consultants

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public
  • Five to seven or more years experience in CRE loan administration
  • Advanced level of knowledge in all areas of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending including, but not limited to, letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
  • Strong technical expertise in the closing and loan management functions
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex CRE loans and manage a CRE loan portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of CRE finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems
