Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of global and domestic professional licenses, including architecture and engineering licenses
Prepare and process documents for state and jurisdictional professional licensing
Coordination with outside counsel on the opening, closing, and annual maintenance of global and domestic entities
Facilitate routine entity maintenance and updating corporate information sheets as necessary
Act as a liaison with outside counsel to determine and implement the firm’s licensing requirements
Perform legal and factual research utilizing various sources
Provide general support for claims and litigation related matters
Collaborate with the legal team to enhance and streamline legal department processes
Provide administrative support to the legal team
Requirements
3+ years of experience providing licensing and/or legal support services, including experience working for an in-house legal team with cross-border operations
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
Notary public in California or ability to obtain
Solid understanding of corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of professional services industry, specifically architecture and civil engineering firms, a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and meticulousness with legal documents and contracts
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Dynamic, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and easily adapts to shifting priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word) and adaptable to learning new technology tools
