About the role

Responsibilities
- As a Controller (f/m/d) at Schlafender Hase, your mission is to further build, design and optimize our controlling structures
- You act as a sparring partner for the CFO, executive management and business units, ensuring transparency in numbers, KPIs and processes
- Your work creates the foundation for strategic decision-making in a dynamic SaaS environment
- Further development and optimization of the company's internal controlling, including reporting, planning and forecasting processes
- Budgeting – preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts with a focus on achieving targets
- Analysis and optimization of cost structures as well as contribution margin calculations by product, customer and market
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Operations as a business partner, and support for sales and marketing controlling
- Support the CFO with additional tasks and projects to shape and further develop the finance function
Requirements
- You have a degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling
- You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable controlling position, ideally in a SaaS, software or international B2B environment
- You have solid knowledge in finance, controlling and accounting
- You can demonstrate experience in building or further developing controlling structures and processes
- A strong numerical aptitude and the ability to analyze complex financial data from multiple systems and country entities distinguish you
- You bring analytical strength combined with pragmatism and a hands-on, results-oriented approach
- You have excellent skills in Excel and BI tools; experience with ERP/CRM data sources is an advantage
- You enjoy and have experience working in an internationally oriented company
- You have business-fluent English
