About the role

  • Contracts Attorney negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements at Taconic Biosciences. Collaborating with teams to balance risk with business needs while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts.
  • Provide legal guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and risks to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contract terms with company goals.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including tracking, renewals, and terminations.
  • Maintain and update standard templates, playbooks, and provide training on contract requirements.
  • Stay current on applicable laws and regulations relevant to the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, and active, good standing membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience focused on contract law and transactional work.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
