About the role

  • Legal intern supporting procedural processes and document management for Eckermann & Santos law firm in São Paulo. Involves case monitoring and client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring case progress on court websites;
  • Updating the internal case-tracking system;
  • Drafting routine court filings and pleadings;
  • Attending hearings as the firm’s authorized representative (preposto);
  • Preparing payment guides and extracting copies; drafting defenses for PROCON (consumer protection) proceedings;
  • Registering cases in the case-management system;
  • Scheduling deadlines and verifying court publications and notifications;

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Law degree program — 8th or 9th semester;
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills;
