About the role

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative evaluation on transition impacts and costs.
  • Identifying sources, type and structures of finance required to provide transition assistance.
  • Active participation and contribution to stakeholder meetings acting on behalf of CPI.
  • Support in engagements with prospective funders, collaborators.
  • Support with development of proposals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with CPI staff working around the globe.
  • Share responsibility with team members for monitoring the progress of the workplan and production of deliverables as per timelines.
  • Writing and editing of high-quality products, including reports, papers, executive summaries, blogs, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Energy Science/Energy Economics/Power Management/Power Systems
  • At least 3 years of demonstrable experience working with power generation/transmission/distribution utilities in India or technical/management consulting firms
  • Strong understanding of India’s energy sector, including key policies, regulations, and recent developments.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with ministries, departments and private sector entities
  • Advanced quantitative and data analysis skills using MS Excel, Stata, R, or Python.
  • Fluency in English required (written and verbal).
