About the role

• Consultant managing local authority electoral and voter registration projects at Civica. Building strong client relationships and mentoring junior colleagues for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple election and registration projects for local authority clients, ensuring quality and timely outcomes.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and managing issues through to resolution.
• Take ownership of a technical or service area, becoming a subject matter expert and driving continuous improvement.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Contribute to the evolution of CES’ services by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery models and client value.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and consortium partners to align activities and meet key milestones.
• Represent Civica confidently in both virtual and in-person meetings, especially during key electoral periods.

Requirements

• Experience in local government election administration or similar complex, regulated environments.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, with a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving and delivery.
• Proven ability to mentor, collaborate, and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technologies quickly, with strong analytical and technical aptitude.
• Willingness to work two days per week in the London office, with flexibility during key electoral periods and occasional client travel.
