About the role

  • Supports conflict of interest resolution by analyzing potential legal and business conflicts.
  • Drafts email waivers and conflict waiver letters.
  • Implements information barriers and ensures proper notification to personnel.
  • Maintains internal conflicts database and ensures proper documentation.
  • Reviews and identifies conflicts in new business intake forms.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ direct experience in conflicts or new business intake department within a law firm, paralegal or similar experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking in evaluating different conflicts scenarios or outcomes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Experience drafting formal documents, waivers, and correspondence.
