About the role

  • Compute Sales Specialist focused on developing the German Public Defense Business at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Driving Compute initiatives and managing dedicated accounts with business growth responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for development of the German Public Defense Business for dedicated accounts in the Business Unit Compute
  • Place our Compute Focus Topics and implement important Compute Initiatives like IB Activities, Sustainability, Competitor Attack, Best Practise Sharing, VM Essentials, PC AI / AI, SAP HANA
  • Build a fundamental long-term Compute Funnel for Sell to, Sell with and Sell through
  • Be responsible for Compute growth
  • Be the primary responsible contact for all Compute Solutions, Lifecycle and Transactional Business

Requirements

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer and higher level customer interface
  • Typically, 5+ years of experience in specialty sales
  • Experienced knowledge about product, service, solution and differentiators between own offerings and what competitor's offerings
  • Specialized technical product/service/ solution knowledge in working with account teams to screen and prioritize multiple leads for feasibility
  • Consultative selling skills, proactively help customers with making IT business decisions
  • Solid communication and presentation skills within IT at the manager level
  • Product demonstration, customer training, product installation skills
  • Conceptualization and articulation of well-targeted solutions in area of specialty - product, service, solution -- from proposal to contract sign- off
  • Knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV solutions
  • Regular use of Sales force to update deal profile and forecasting accurately
  • Fluency in German and English language.
