Accounting & Control Improvement Lead driving operational excellence for Diabetes International. Focused on SAP S/4HANA implementation and compliance with financial processes across regions.
Responsibilities
Support value streams with the implementation of efficient accounting and control processes to ensure operational readiness for Day 1 (IPO)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to optimize end-to-end (E2E) processes
Lead the design and implementation of accounting and control processes within SAP S/4HANA for Day 2 (TSA exit)
Oversee the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and control processes
Implement a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework to monitor and optimize process performance
Shape and standardize the statutory reporting process, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local regulations
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting & control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance operations, process/system improvement, or related roles, ideally within a multinational organization
Proven experience leading large-scale system implementation projects, including SAP S/4HANA
Expertise in designing and optimizing accounting and control processes for international shared services environments
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing culturally diverse teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
Familiarity with statutory reporting processes, value stream design, and KPI management will help you excel in this role.
