Compliance Analyst responsible for ensuring Hedgepoint's business compliance with laws and regulations. Involves analyzing laws and keeping compliance materials updated across all company sectors.
Responsibilities
Map and analyze applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Design and execute the annual compliance communications and training program.
Produce content and keep compliance materials up to date on the intranet and public/internal websites.
Prepare and run compliance surveys; consolidate evidence of implementation.
Execute compliance controls to ensure legal and regulatory obligations are current.
Maintain departmental databases and calculate/report compliance KPIs.
Draft reports and presentations; communicate findings and action plans to stakeholders.
Define and maintain training and certification policies and procedures in collaboration with HR.
Perform effectiveness testing of controls based on applicable laws and regulations.
Support preparation of regulatory reports and responses to authorities.
Support internal and external audits.
Conduct compliance risk assessments.
Review, implement, and enhance compliance standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
Run conflicts of interest campaigns and analyze declarations.
Support internal investigations.
Drive daily follow-ups to ensure action plans and initiatives are executed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
Proficiency with Office 365.
Fundamental knowledge of compliance concepts and pillars.
Strong understanding of laws and regulations.
Knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation bodies: Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM), and National Monetary Council (CMN).
Industry knowledge (nice to have): financial services (DTVM/CTVM/Banks).
Experience designing and delivering training and communications.
Experience analyzing laws and regulations.
