About the role

  • Structure the Extend community
  • Identify needs and ensure proper staffing of developers in your team
  • Create and maintain an active exchange space (Slack, Notion, regular rituals)
  • Implement tools and formats that promote collective upskilling (sharing best practices)
  • Ensure technical quality and consistency
  • Organize community code reviews (peer reviews) or project audits
  • Distribute templates and common best practices to standardize technical standards
  • Train and develop developers
  • Design onboarding paths and continuous training programs (code reviews)
  • Host dojos, pair programming sessions, or internal trainings
  • Establish a mentorship system between developers
  • Animate the community on a daily basis
  • Organize internal talks, coding sessions, or meetups
  • Highlight individual and team successes
  • Foster a culture of mutual support, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
  • Represent Extend's technical vision
  • Produce and share external content (articles, conference talks, LinkedIn posts).

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience, including at least 3 years as a Tech Lead
  • Comfortable working with multiple frameworks in your core technologies
  • Experience with complex architectures
  • Experience working with major enterprise clients and scale-ups
  • Experience operating within a cross-functional (feature) team
  • Engineering degree (Diplôme d’ingénieur)
  • Nice to have: experience as a speaker at a conference or tech meetup
  • Active participation on forums or at events related to your tech stack
