Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high‑performance collections team, delivering feedback and both technical and behavioral guidance.
  • Actively participate in building a top-performing team.
  • Act as a promoter and role model of the organizational culture within the team.
  • Coordinate activities of the internal team and external collection partners, ensuring alignment of goals and processes.
  • Create and implement new routines and strategies for the operation, proactively seeking ways to increase efficiency.
  • Define and organize regular rituals and routines for managing the team and collection partners.
  • Escalate and refine the collections strategy to achieve predetermined objectives and targets.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex negotiation cases or complaints, seeking effective solutions.
  • Monitor the portfolio of partners, identify delinquency risks and develop preventive and credit recovery actions.
  • Analyze and report productivity and quality indicators for the team and analysts, applying action plans to drive improvements.
  • Work together with partners' Quality and Continuous Improvement areas to map processes, create controls, and enhance team efficiency.
  • Analyze the profile of the collections portfolio, segmenting customers and defining the most effective approaches.
  • Propose the implementation of new technologies and tools to automate processes and increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing collections teams.
  • Experience with operational and performance metrics in collections.
  • Analytical profile with strong data analysis skills.
  • Analytical capability and strategic vision to propose solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with the team, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Proactivity and a sense of urgency in problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) tools is a plus.
  • Effective communication, leadership, resilience and teamwork skills.
