About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art data cloud architectures for clients in life sciences.
- Implement CI/CD and cloud infrastructure using Terraform as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Analyse cloud services to determine strengths, limitations, and best-fit strategies.
- Implement and oversee data security measures ensuring compliance in highly regulated environments.
- Design and implement secure, robust, and scalable cloud solutions leveraging latest cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Define organization-wide best practices and security standards across projects and solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to create proofs of concept (PoCs) and demonstrate technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture/cloud engineering working with 1 or more major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD providers such as GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to customer custom infrastructure and contribute effectively.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Expertise in building and working with serverless architecture.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience in agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
- Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g. Python, SQL, bash).
- Self-starter, self-trainer, independent problem solver, able to lead projects effectively.
- It will be a plus: Experience with Azure OpenAI resources, life-science upstream systems (e.g., Veeva), pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-303, AZ-304, SAA-C03, SAP-C01).
