About the role

  • You will strengthen our claims handling team in motor vehicle liability — handling both property and personal injury claims.
  • Proactively settle claims to reduce claims costs.
  • Demonstrate empathetic and confident negotiation skills when dealing with claimants, attorneys, and other parties.
  • Establish and monitor claim reserves.
  • Review and enforce subrogation/recourse claims.
  • Support and oversee court proceedings.
  • After a structured onboarding, independently take responsibility for handling your cases.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a lawyer (jurist) or insurance clerk, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Proven practical experience in claims handling at an insurer or claims adjusting office.
  • Enjoy working independently.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and common everyday software.
  • Strong negotiation skills when dealing with diverse parties.
  • Interest in shaping the digital transformation of claims handling.
  • English language skills are an advantage.
