About the role
- Drive adoption of the Cell Therapy portfolio into customer manufacturing platforms across the NA East region
- Serve as East region Business Development Specialist for the CCCT Cell Therapy portfolio (Isolation, Activation, Expansion workflows)
- Collaborate with cross-divisional CGT and BPG commercial teams to build a strong revenue pipeline
- Develop a strategic territory plan and harness Thermo Fisher commercial teams for CGT initiatives and growth
- Own the region's opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Engage customers through face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, and email
- Communicate evolving Cell Therapy market trends and competition to the business unit(s)
- Report to the Cell Culture Cell Therapy (CCCT) business unit and collaborate with cross-divisional partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life-science-related field (Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering) required
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience working in a role related to Cell Therapy or bioprocess (5-7+ years preferred)
- Experience in cross-divisional environments and influencing without authority
- Knowledge and experience in the Cell Therapy field with strong desire to keep up with the rapidly advancing field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency using all Microsoft products
- Ability to travel approx. 30%
- Remote home office location in close proximity to a Cell Therapy hub (Boston or Philadelphia Greater area strongly preferred)
