Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the submission of life insurance applications to insurance carriers.
- Reconcile outstanding pending case requirements and respond to requests for additional information.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by researching and responding to internal and external inquiries promptly.
- Utilize multiple system applications to manage both electronic and physical documents.
- Oversee the full life cycle of each case in alignment with service standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients to resolve issues and proactively address potential obstacles.
- Consistently communicate case status using established metrics.
- Ensure timely follow-up with carriers for receipt of compensation once a case is placed.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers to obtain favorable underwriting outcomes.
- Partner with carrier underwriters to escalate cases as needed for the best possible offer and policy for the client.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1–3+ years of experience supporting life insurance sales or processing.
- An Insurance License is required.
- Candidate must obtain State Insurance License within 120 days of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and foster collaboration with clients.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, follow up proactively, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
