Responsibilities
Efficiently manage the submission of life insurance applications to insurance carriers.
Reconcile outstanding pending case requirements and respond to requests for additional information.
Deliver high-quality customer service by researching and responding to internal and external inquiries promptly.
Utilize multiple system applications to manage both electronic and physical documents.
Oversee the full life cycle of each case in alignment with service standards.
Collaborate closely with clients to resolve issues and proactively address potential obstacles.
Consistently communicate case status using established metrics.
Ensure timely follow-up with carriers for receipt of compensation once a case is placed.
Act as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers to obtain favorable underwriting outcomes.
Partner with carrier underwriters to escalate cases as needed for the best possible offer and policy for the client.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
1–3+ years of experience supporting life insurance sales or processing.
An Insurance License is required.
Candidate must obtain State Insurance License within 120 days of employment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and foster collaboration with clients.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, follow up proactively, and meet deadlines.
