About the role
- Business Analyst within data onboarding and integrations team for LUSID at fintech company. Contributing to the specification of data and ensuring smooth integration via APIs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, integration partners and internal stakeholders to understand data and functional integration requirements for the LUSID platform.
- Perform detailed analysis of external data sources and define mapping to LUSID’s data models especially across instrument, transactions and pricing sources amongst others.
- Review and interpret API documentation to support integration design and data onboarding.
- Support the configuration and implementation of data pipelines and connectivity between external systems and LUSID platform.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure integration solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes, tooling and documentation.
- Feed back into the core platform development and functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on system integrations, data onboarding, or connectivity projects, ideally in the buy side space.
- Strong understanding of APIs and experience reviewing technical documentation to define integration requirements.
- Ability to analyse, map and transform complex data structures across different systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and present integration designs and data mapping clearly.
- Familiarity with tools or platforms related to data ingestion.
- Familiarity with financial products including Fixed Income, bonds, OTC derivatives, and listed derivatives.
