About the role
- Design, deploy, manage, monitor, and maintain validator nodes for multiple blockchain networks (strong focus on Ethereum)
- Build and automate infrastructure for blockchain operations to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Deploy and manage validator nodes across multiple blockchain networks
- Optimize nodes for low latency and high transaction speed, balancing performance with cost efficiency
- Maintain and optimize Grafana-based monitoring and participate in on-call schedules for incident detection and resolution
- Implement security and compliance best practices for blockchain nodes
- Manage network upgrades and forks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain clear, updated documentation and share key updates with teams
- Serve as a blockchain subject-matter expert supporting business, development, and customer teams
- Drive automation, ensure production-grade stability, and optimize platform efficiency
Requirements
- Deep expertise managing Ethereum nodes (validators, RPC)
- In-depth knowledge of Ethereum’s Proof of Stake protocol and ecosystem
- Proficiency in designing and implementing production-grade infrastructure and platform solutions, using Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, co-location, or bare metal setups for Ethereum infrastructure
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and Platform Engineering experience
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing Ethereum expertise
