About the role
- Principal Blockchain Engineer on the DeFi Yield Gen Platform team at Fidelity. Developing skills in crypto yield generation with modern software development practices, mentoring engineers in best practices.
Responsibilities
- develop skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a fun and dynamic environment

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required
- 8+ years' of progressive experience in software engineering using programming languages like RUST
- Hands-on experience with L1 & L2 blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum
- Hands-on experience building highly performant and low latency applications
- Proficient in databases and SQL
- Familiarity with protocols such as Aave, Uniswap is a plus
- An understanding of microservice architecture
- Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments
- Experience building unit and integration tests
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
- Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus
- Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as SNS and SQS is a plus
