Business Intelligence Analyst serving as Data Analyst at DPR Construction. Driving data strategies for equipment and supply chain operations analysis across locations in the US.
About the role
- Partner with clients to deliver data-driven insights that address business and technology challenges
- Design and implement BI and analytics solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and business functions
- Manage project activities such as planning, scope definition, issue tracking, and risk management
- Lead or support end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of solutions
- Act as a bridge between business and IT to ensure alignment and value delivery
- Continuously learn new tools and techniques and share knowledge with the wider team
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to engage IT and business stakeholders at all levels
- Practical, proactive approach and desire to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Solid working knowledge of SQL
- Python is an advantage
- General knowledge of business intelligence concepts
- Understanding of ETL tools/processes is an advantage
- Experience with BI/visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an advantage
- Experience in management consulting or understanding of internal business processes is an advantage
- Willingness to continue learning and acquire new skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
