About the role

Responsibilities
- Shaping the product architecture and playing an active role in the design process
- Building, maintaining and up scaling the company data pipeline.
- Maintain and develop our cloud platform.
- Building web and mobile applications that work both on-line and off-line
- Building and designing company data warehouse and DBs and the relationships between them
- Owning end-to-end major components and codebases
- Making additional contributions to other Earth Force products
- Helping onboard and ramp up additional team members
Requirements
- BA in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years as a backend engineer using Python
- Demonstrable experience working on projects involving multiple DBs and microservices architecture in a Cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong DevOps skills. Be able to independently install, configure and maintain different system components on bare-metal Linux machines / self managed K8S clusters.
- 2+ years experience in cloud platform management using terraform (or equivalent) and in managing security, storage and compute in cloud environments
- 2+ years working with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD tools
- Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools
- High level verbal and written proficiency in English
