Responsibilities

• Develop and manage payment functions within the core banking system
• Configure Avaloq modules and interfaces to external payment systems, including parameterization and scripting (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL)
• Participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Troubleshoot and resolve production payment issues to ensure high-quality service
• Ensure system changes are fully tested and documented in accordance with internal standards
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external counterparties

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Practical experience in Avaloq development
• Initial experience with SIC, euroSIC, SWIFT, SEPA, or Instant Payment processes
• Deep knowledge of the Avaloq core banking system
• Proficiency in Avaloq scripting and PL/SQL
• Experience with Avaloq parameterization and customization
• Familiarity with payment transactions, asset management products, and banking processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
