Responsibilities
Collaborate with account managers and clients to define project scope, functional requirements, and system needs.
Develop detailed AV system designs, including signal flow diagrams, equipment lists, and rack elevations.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, labor projections, and technical proposals for AV integration projects.
Evaluate project specifications, RFPs, and drawings to ensure alignment with design intent and client objectives.
Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing, verify compatibility, and stay updated on new technologies.
Develop and maintain standardized estimating templates, pricing tools, and documentation libraries.
Ensure estimates reflect realistic labor and materials costs while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
Assist the sales team with responses to RFPs/RFQs, design-build proposals, and budgetary estimates.
Provide design handoffs and technical documentation to project management and engineering teams for execution.
Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed to validate designs and gather system requirements.
