About the role

  • Deliver customer support through on-site installation of complex equipment and systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair manufacturing systems and components
  • Verify and approve the operational quality of system components
  • Provide instruction to customers on system operation and maintenance
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients on technical and administrative aspects of assigned projects
  • Perform project management functions for customer projects including needs identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and customer teams to improve process and discrete control system efficiency
  • Travel to customer sites to perform physical tasks needed to install and maintain manufacturing systems
  • Reduce customer downtime by analyzing technical problems and implementing solutions that meet customer requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employer will not sponsor employment visas
  • 3+ years of experience in field/service support (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley platforms
  • Experience designing and programming Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for industrial applications
  • Familiarity with RS Logix 5000 software
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with wiring, panel layout, and control system integration
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical components and safety standards
  • Experience with motion control systems and industrial drive technologies
  • Diagnostic skills with industrial networks, variable frequency drives (Power Flex), FT View HMI, and legacy Allen Bradley controllers
  • Ability to travel to customer sites for installation and maintenance
  • Experience with tools such as PC laptop, multi-meters, hand tools, drills, and wiring diagrams
  • Prior work in manufacturing or industrial settings with exposure to automation and process control
