Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop commercial insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all current client needs.
  • Actively prospect new and account rounding opportunities, network for new clients, including win backs.
  • Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary with to obtain proper documentation.
  • Present policies to the insured and educate them on coverages and rates.

Requirements

  • Current Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Minimum of at least one year of insurance sales and/or customer service experience
  • Be a self starter with a sense of urgency
