About the role

  • Assistant Director of Financial Aid managing financial aid funding and programs for all students. Overseeing disbursement and compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Responsibilities

  • responsible for the administration, awarding and disbursement of financial aid funding for all students
  • management of federal, state and institutional aid programs in accordance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, education or related field from an accredited college or university
  • At least three years of experience in post-secondary financial aid.
  • Understanding of current federal rules and regulations
  • experience with computerized information systems.
  • Experience administering aid at an institution with 3,000+ students
  • community college experience.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with computer-based financial aid systems, student information systems, EdConnect, COD, CPS, and U.S. Department of Education software.
