Responsibilities
Support the Engineering Manager in organizing the horizontal structure of this competency, defining strategies/guiding drivers and driving them with the teams, together with other *Chapter Leads* and *Specialists* of the horizontal;
Lead strategies for attracting and developing software engineering professionals (1:1s, Individual Development Plans, hiring/termination);
Within the vertical you belong to, act as a leader supporting product leadership in structuring teams and the technical foundation for the product to function effectively;
Carry out people management and development activities;
Support the operation of the horizontal to ensure processes, tools and capacity are appropriate for developers to work with the verticals to deliver quality products;
Drive software engineering topics with leaders of other technical horizontals, seeking to understand business strategy and the product roadmap, ensuring delivery progress through established drivers;
Pair with GPMs and PMs to understand the main business challenges;
Promote adoption of new technologies aligned with the architectural model to solve business problems;
Connect with other technology areas to enable business demands and needs.
