About the role

  • Oversee the operation for Banking and Capital Market.
  • Lead a team of Managers, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, compliance with regulatory standards, and the implementation of best practices in banking service delivery.
  • Maintain metrics and reporting for senior management and committee presentations.
  • Support Clients Risk governance initiatives and working groups to facilitate alignment across key operational areas.
  • Support first line operational/business risk program to assess, measure, monitor, mitigate, and educate at-risk business units regarding risk operations for various clients.
  • Participate in implementation of new processes and procedures both internal and external due to regulatory changes and/or industry events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to confirm comprehensive and consistent practices are followed to allow for a successful oversight client operations program.
  • Perform incident reviews to identify control / process vulnerabilities and partner with various stakeholders to assess potential strategic / tactical remediation opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Oversee the commissioning of new WTP projects and the decommissioning of obsolete ones. Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in any stream must; Post Graduate/Masters in Finance stream preferred.
  • Minimum 14-18 years of experience in the operations management for US clients in financial services industry; preferably in Fraud/AML/Chargeback.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of various project management frameworks and requirements.
  • Strong at identifying key control points and providing an assessment.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities; with the ability to make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
