About the role

  • Sales Manager leading a team of field account representatives selling MRO supplies in the apartment industry. Overseeing sales strategies and customer retention programs in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and directing a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory
  • Designing and recommending sales and marketing programs and setting sales strategies
  • Developing and implementing sales and customer retention programs
  • Planning, forecasting, and reporting on sales and competitive pricing activities
  • Spending time in the field and interacting with customers and internal partners
  • Managing and developing direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales

Requirements

  • Previous sales leadership experience in similar industry
  • Experience in business to business sales
  • Experience with sales techniques such as consultative selling
  • Evaluating talent, building a team, coaching/mentoring a sales team
  • Large volume of product lines experience
  • Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, and more
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
