About the role

  • Apparel Selection Development Manager in a hybrid role, leading product development at Printful and Printify. Collaborating with R&D teams and managing process optimizations in a global on-demand business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-house product development process in close collaboration with R&D and Purchasing teams, ensuring product readiness.
  • Monitor product development timelines and status updates, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are well-informed.
  • Take full ownership of the in-house product development process, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Serve as the internal expert on apparel—particularly embroidery—providing insights, guidance, and recommendations for both in-house and outsourced product development.
  • Stay informed about market and industry trends in embroidery technique and integrate relevant innovations into product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and proposing process optimizations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively adapt to changing priorities and evolving business and market needs.
  • Balance operational coordination with a strategic mindset—seeking opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive tasks to focus on higher-value activities.

Requirements

  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple product statuses and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a proactive and open approach.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as R&D, Purchasing, Onboarding, and Category Management.
  • High level of ownership and initiative, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Curious and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • A desire to grow as a subject matter expert in the embroidery (EMB) field.
  • Passion for process improvement, with a willingness to introduce new ideas and challenge the status quo.
