Aircraft Maintenance Engineer overseeing mechanical systems compliance while ensuring operational reliability and adherence to aviation regulations in Brazil. Participating in technical governance and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
Supervise overhauls of TDPs (OH) at external MROs, ensuring technical and documentary compliance.
Actively participate in technical governance, analysis of ADs, SBs and SLs, and the preparation and review of EOs (Engineering Orders).
Provide technical support for modifications and investigations of performance and recurring failures in the systems under your responsibility.
Work alongside internal and external workshops, providing on-site technical support for CMM queries, processes and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) investigations.
Monitor performance and reliability indicators in partnership with Contracts, Supply, Reliability and Warranty teams.
Provide direct support to CTM Components, IRM and Logistics, ensuring traceability, technical documentation and system-based receipt of components.
Participate in AOG meetings, supporting decisions on aircraft release and prioritization of corrective actions.
Control and monitor aircraft delivery and redelivery, validating technical documentation.
Provide remote support or on-call coverage for AOG events at line bases (CNF, GIG, CGH, BSB and others).
Conduct technical analyses for modifications.
Develop and implement reliability improvements, cost reduction initiatives and maintenance cycle extensions.
Validate special tools and maintenance equipment according to the manufacturer's list.
Create dashboards and performance monitoring algorithms, applying operational data and analytics to inform engineering decisions.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical or related), with active CREA registration.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, preferably in Mechanical Systems.
Languages: Advanced English (reading, writing and speaking).
Interpretation of AMM, CMM, IPC and Boeing SBs (ATA 32);
Maintenance planning and configuration control;
Basic knowledge of reliability analysis and project management;
Advanced Excel, Power BI, AMOS and My Boeing Fleet.
