About the role

  • Engineer in Electrical Engineering for offshore wind parks planning and development. Responsible for technical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the planning and development of offshore wind farms
  • Conducting due diligence processes
  • Preparing suitable preliminary designs and sizing/layouts of electrical systems
  • Developing and detailing electrical concepts for the wind farm
  • Preparing technical documentation (specifications, interfaces, etc.)
  • Performing supplier audits
  • Manufacturing support and acceptance of integrated systems
  • Coordination of technical interfaces between the wind farm and the substation
  • Support during offshore commissioning (troubleshooting, commissioning planning)
  • Ensuring compliance with permitting and certification requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Power/Energy Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the planning and development of grid/network projects
  • Basic knowledge of network/grid calculations (e.g. PowerFactory)
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (VDE, DNV-GL)
  • Experience with technical drawing tools (e.g. AutoCAD, EPlan, RuPlan)
  • Proficient user of the MS Office suite
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
  • Valid driving license (class B or class 3)
  • Very good German and English language skills
