About the role

• AI Engineer developing backend features and API integrations at LLInformatics. Collaborating with various teams and optimizing AI-assisted development in a remote-first work environment.

Responsibilities

• Owning backend features and API integrations (Python, FastAPI, gRPC, SQL).
• Building connectors for APIs, files, and external systems (e.g., SharePoint, SFTP, webhooks).
• Integrating LLM-based capabilities with strong evaluation and monitoring.
• Adapting and extending auto-generated pipelines and front-end outputs.
• Championing AI-assisted development: setting up guardrails, context packs, and mentoring teammates.
• Collaborating with Solution Strategists, Data Platform, and Support teams to deliver complete solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with Python (FastAPI, SQL).
• Strong experience with API design and integrations.
• Practical experience with workflow orchestration (Temporal, Dagster, or similar).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Comfortable using agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) for scaffolding, refactoring, and testing.
• Experience with SQL and data modelling.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation of AI or data pipelines.
• Interest in AI technologies and in helping teams raise their AI development skills.
• Polish and English at B2+ level.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
