About the role
- Data Engineer preparing and transforming data sources for banking and capital market projects. Working collaboratively on mission-critical projects in financial services with Capco.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, ingest, clean, transform, and pipeline relevant data sources (banking systems, transaction logs, compliance data) for training or retrieval; enable secure integration.
Requirements
- 5+ years related experience.
- Strong in ETL/ELT pipelines, big data tools (e.g. Spark, Airflow, dbt).
- Knowledge of data warehouses, streaming (Kafka, etc.), relational and NoSQL stores.
- Experience with data privacy, masking, encryption, compliance (GDPR, PCI, etc.).
- API / adapter development, connectors to core banking systems.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
