About the role

  • Advanced Digital Data Analyst designing advanced statistical models to drive digital engagement at Lloyds Banking Group. Collaborating with stakeholders and supporting team capability growth.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements advanced statistical models utilising techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing and forecasting to find patterns and insights
  • Supports capability growth of self and others through coaching and/or management of a small team
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders to understand business objectives
  • Propose and shape deep analytics and modelling projects
  • Collaborate with the local team to share ideas and listen to alternatives
  • Identify and source appropriate data, validating quality and suitability
  • Undertake data analysis or model development as required
  • Maintain effective comms with stakeholders throughout the project
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the team

Requirements

  • Strong technical background with expertise in large scale data mining and data manipulation (using SQL)
  • Practical experience using data modelling tools (such as Python, R, Vertex AI)
  • Experience with statistical modelling or machine learning techniques (such as logistic regression, clustering, decision trees, random forests, significance testing)
  • Experience with full lifecycle of analytics projects from scoping, build, deployment and management of statistical models
  • Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
  • Good business understanding, particularly digital customer journeys and cross-channel interaction strategies
  • Excellent communication skills to inform decisions
  • Experience using the Group Data Warehouse (GDW) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of GCP and BigQuery
  • Experience in an Agile environment
