About the role

  • Complete projects and perform complex actuarial studies
  • Engage in pharmacy claim forecasting and analysis for Commercial and Medicare
  • Collaborate on Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) initiatives
  • Obtain, verify, analyze and model data including risk reporting and forecasting
  • Calculate monthly claims liability reserves
  • Develop merit rating factors
  • Prepare Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits
  • Leverage expertise in Excel and SAS, and enhance skills in R

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree
  • Passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
